Founded by Dr. Chris Pollock, InTandemWorks acts as a consultancy + development team, partnering with entrepreneurs in their efforts to achieve goals + maximize performance.

“Great things can happen when you've got a team, working together, in tandem.”

Dr. Christopher “Chris” Pollock has been a speaker, writer, thought-leader, writer, educator, and pastor for over 20 years.

Co-strategist, Consultant, Coach

From the start of his career, Chris’ intent was simply to make a positive impact on others.

In his work with teenagers, college aged students, and young adults for over 15 years, Chris was able to discover his own gifting of strategic thinking, leadership, and teaching. This led him to develop a practical strategy of developing effective organizations in his doctoral work at Fuller Theological Seminary. As he watched the changing nature of his city, he began to take interest in urbanization, city planning, transportation, food resource opportunities, and community development.

This, combined with his years of work with young people, set Chris on a trajectory to help people discover their own vocational call so they might make positive contributions to their own communities. Currently, he’s most interested in helping people collide their calling with finding meaningful and dignifying work, which is how InTandemWorks came to be!

However, of all the things he’s proud of, Chris would say his greatest accomplishment is marrying Holly, his incredible wife of over 20 years, and having two amazing children—Watson and Annabelle.

Back in the day Chris was a competitive swimmer. For a time he also competed in triathlons and road races, and has spent a little time studying martial arts. However, though his competition days are long gone, he still can’t shake the endurance bug, even as he gets older. That’s why he and Holly ride a tandem bicycle on tours on the weekends. And, Chris still rides his swims, bikes, runs, and practices martial arts.

Because he takes an interest in city planning, urbanization, and placemaking, and because he wants to be the very best neighbor he can be, Chris commutes as much as he can on his bicycle; even in the rain or snow.

“In Oklahoma City, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad weather clothes.” - Chris Pollock

Regardless if he is working out, sitting on the porch chatting with those that live nearby, serving his church, or helping a young leader write up a business plan, Chris lives by this motto: everyone deserves a chance to be the best version of themselves.
